Water for Elephants... The first book in our new book club :)

So yes, I am a book worm.... I admit it and I'm am proud to say it, proclaim it..... I LOVE BOOKS! They keep me young, they keep my mind fresh and alert, but more then anything they make me happy! So I decided, why not start a book club. I got the idea when I visited my cousin in Maryland and found out that she is in a book club... And I thought to myself, what fun would that be to start one with all of my friends, so I did.... I convinced 9 of my friends to join me and we decided on our first book.... Water for Elephants....

This book is awesome in my mind... funny how some loved it, some not so much. But that's ok, that is the joy of books and of book clubs... To discuss our likes and dislikes... We chose to go see the movie before we met yesterday to compare the differences between the book and the movie. And like every other book made into a movie, the book had so much more detail it was crazy... Don't get me wrong, the movie was good, and Robert Pattison is always yummy to watch, but I was dissapointed by one thing... **Spoiler Alert, stop reading if you don't want to know about the movie** The movie never goes to the nursing home, and this was such a large part of the storyline of the book. I am confused why the movie producers decided to leave it out of the movie. But, to each his own, right?

All in all, this was a great first book to start out with. I am excited to start our new book The Help... And the previews for this movie were shown which looks like it is going to be absolutely ADORABLE!
